Things to do in Phoenix Arizona

With so many things to do during your visit to Phoenix, I thought I would list a few favorites.

1. Phoenix Hot Air Balloon Flight With Champagne – by Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Co.

2. If you really want a dive deep, we recommend the Champagne and Catering – By Hot Air Expeditions. Enjoy post flight Champagne, a Balloonist’s Ceremony, Catered Breakfast or evening hors d’oeuvres. 45 to 60 minutes – view of the Phoenix expansive mountain ranges and desert wildlife from a height of 3,000 feet

3. Phoenix Guided Self-Drive ATV/UTV Tour & Adventures – by Arizona ATV Adventures or Arizona Outdoor Fun.
Release your inner adventure while having a fun day. Enjoy 3 hours through the northeast corner of Florence Arizona. Explore the extreme northeast experiencing the Pinal Mountains, vertical walls and bumps you will have to negotiate in the Box Canyon’s dirt trails between Tuscon and Phoenix. Or, enjoy an adventurous day in the famous Sonoran desert, mountainous trails, off-roading in a single passenger ATV or a 4 seater UTV.

4. Phoenix Zoo – By Phoenix Zoo

This is a fantastic zoo. It features over 3,000 animals and is on 125 acres within the Papago Park in Phoenix. It as well houses many threatened and endangered species. A great experience.

5. Phoenix Kayaking Trip to Foxtail or Granite Reef – by REI Co-op Experiences, or Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch. What a wonderful way to escape the heat kayaking the Lower Salt River, lush green riverbanks, towering red cliffs, majestic mountains and the Sonoran Desert, keep your eyes open and you may spot wild horses, bald eagles, local flora and fauna in the Tonto National Forest and all the river has to offer – depending on which tour you take. This is a very mild float no rapids. 4 and a half hours.
